Market Sprouts

Market Sprouts

Market Sprouts is a program focused on educating children (and their parents) on the importance of eating fresh, local produce. In addition to other garden related activities, farmers from our market donate different crops for taste testing, all of which have been grown within a 100-mile radius of Edwardsville. Children learn educational facts about crops and healthy eating and meet with farmers. Since 2017, the Market Sprouts Garden has provided an opportunity for our Sprouts to grow their own food and learn about sustainable farming practices.

Check out this week’s activities and join us under the big orange tent!
